Pindeldyboz

Pindeldyboz is an operation run by a small but valiant group of people. We publish creative works here on our website as often as we can, sometimes bi-weekly, sometimes more. We used to publish a print journal, but we stopped. We have been known to publish much fiction, not a lot of nonfiction, and artwork makes an irregular appearance. We finally did release that poetry collection. It was good.

A Return to Silence by Robert Kloss

We pulled them from peat bogs and funeral parlors and text books. Men of dust and cobwebs and feathers, their long fine hairs like corn silk. We duded them up. Picked the roaches from their skulls and smoothed their woolen outfits. They brought us...

Uncle Fishhead by Swan

Where was I, says Uncle Fishhead. Oh yes. I was telling you about the day the clowns baked food. Did they ever. Funny food. All of the ovens were going. And what have you made? said Horothy, who was to judge their final creations, to Clown Cooking...

Our Lady by Ryan Ridge

I'm standing in the stands of a minor league baseball stadium in the rain. Maybe it's late afternoon. Perhaps early evening. I've never been able to discern the difference. However, I've often been caught in the rain. Today it's been raining so lo...

The Feet by A D Jameson

Melanie took one of her nails and scratched a long line along the new boyfriend's calf, from the back of the knee to the Achilles heel. Then she repeated the gesture, scratching out more and more long, thin lines in parallel.

A Big Lumpy Man with A Loud Voice by Anna Reed

You are a big lumpy man with a loud voice. You sleep with whores and forget how to sleep with a woman who you are not paying. You sleep with such a woman. You forget to make a simple call to see how she is feeling, to thank her, to say how beautif...
